Alex Valderana has over ten years of experience in video editing, starting with indie films and moving to television. He has worked for companies like VICE Media, BET, Paramount, Comedy Central, and MTV, most recently as a producer/editor for MTV International’s Digital team. As a narrative editor, he edited all 3 seasons of the “Nightwing: Escalation” web series and the spinoff “Catwoman: Ataraxia.” Recently, he finished editing the short film “Halloween Wager” (dir. Ray Gootz) and the documentary short “Flint…For Those Who Dare” (dir. Raul Barquet), which completed its festival run in 2023. Alex also recently wrapped the short film “Disclosure” (prod. Raul Barquet) and will be its editor.

"Flint. For Those Who Dare…" is a short documentary about early graffiti writer and documentarian Roberto “Flint…” Gennari. This film features archival photo and video by the artist as well as interviews with him, his contemporaries and industry experts. This documentary has won several awards and accolades during its festival run.
